After months and months of planning, at some point you need to get started. Let the trip begin.
The Chicago crew got started early on Friday morning. The Minnesota crew not so much. The plan was to meet somewhere on the Great River Road somewhere down near Wabasha, and then head North to our first day of camping at Interstate Park in St Croix Falls, WI.
It mostly worked out that way. We had some great riding and great weather to get the trip started.
Parting shot: We found out early about one riders affinity for sourcing out the tastiest spicy buffalo wings. Eh’ Dave?
