Jalapeno Pineapple Brad Burgers.
These burgers take a little time to prepare but are well worth it. I have to give credit where credit is due. A friend of my sons grilled these for us in the mountains of Western North Carolina and they were awesome.
These burgers have just the right amount of heat and sweet. First the ingredients:
Ground Beef
Bacon
Pineapple rings
Red onion
Jalapenos
Cheddar cheese
BBQ sauce
Dice the red onions and jalapenos and mix into the ground beef. Make patties slightly larger than the size of the buns.
Cook bacon and set aside so strips are in 4″ – 5” lengths.
Grill burgers over medium heat to desired wellness. I like mine medium rare to medium.
Grill sliced pineapple for several minutes on both sides to warm up and caramelize. When burgers are close to being done baste the patties liberally with BBQ sauce.
Cover top of burger with bacon and melt cheddar or American cheese over top of bacon and bbq sauce. Melted cheese holds it all in place. Place grilled pineapple on top of burger.
If you have room on the grill for buns…. toast them! Everyone likes warm buns.
Now kick back by the fire, turn on a little Gary Clark jr and crack open a 3 Floyds Zombie Dust.
